Concessions for Tama Atacama Lithium Project Exploration Awarded

Jul 10, 2024

For its Tama Atacama Lithium Project, Pan Asia Metals Limited (ASX: PAM) has been awarded almost all exploration concessions, bringing the total area to about 1,234km². Recently, 303 km2 of new exploration concessions were approved, the most of which are covered by PAM's current option agreements. Situated in the Atacama Desert of Chile, the project enjoys superior transportation and energy infrastructure.

Due to recent modifications to Chilean mining legislation, the new concessions will expire in 2027 and 2028. By utilizing its resources in South America and Southeast Asia to create cutting-edge battery chemicals, PAM is ideally positioned to profit from the rising demand for battery materials.
