Astute Metals Identifies High-Priority Drill Targets at Needles Gold-Silver Project.

Astute Metals NL (ASX: ASE) has completed a comprehensive review of its 100%-owned Needles Gold-Silver Project in Nevada, USA, identifying four high-priority targets for exploration. The project, previously underexplored, is underpinned by a large epithermal alteration system mapped via ASTER satellite data, showing a 3km x 2km kaolinite-illite alteration zone. Surface sampling across the project has revealed exceptional grades, with rock chips up to 33g/t gold and 1,115g/t silver.

The targets include the Eastern Shaft, Arrowhead Mine, Tomahawk Mine, and Whopper Junior, with minimal to no previous drilling in the most prospective areas. Upcoming activities include a soil sampling grid and magnetic survey, leading to initial drilling in Q3 2025. Leveraging synergies with its Red Mountain Lithium Project, Astute aims to unlock significant value by testing deeper epithermal zones, inspired by recent major discoveries like AngloGold Ashanti’s Silicon-Merlin find.
