Blackstone Minerals Strengthens Leadership Following Merger with IDM International.

Blackstone Minerals Limited (ASX: BSX) has announced key board and management changes following its merger with IDM International Limited, which grants access to the highly prospective Mankayan Copper-Gold Project in the Philippines. Recognized as one of the world’s largest undeveloped high-grade copper-gold porphyry systems, Mankayan presents substantial exploration potential and future resource growth.

Upon completion of the merger, IDM Director Geoffrey Gilmour joins Blackstone’s Board, bringing over three decades of resource sector leadership, including his instrumental role in developing Andean Resources. Simultaneously, Directors Dr Frank Bierlein, Ms Alison Gaines, and Mr Dan Lougher will step down. The updated board will include Hamish Halliday (Chairman), Scott Williamson (Managing Director), and Gilmour (Non-Executive Director). Additionally, Carla Healy and Tim Slate have been appointed joint CFO and Company Secretary. Both are seasoned professionals with strong accounting and governance backgrounds, enhancing Blackstone’s executive capabilities.
