GenusPlus Secures Major Western Power Maintenance Order Worth AU$65 Million

GenusPlus Group Ltd (ASX: GNP) has secured a significant order from Western Power to deliver a large-scale maintenance and upgrade program across Western Australia's South West Interconnecting System (SWIS). This initiative is part of a five-year agreement formalised in July 2024 and is expected to generate approximately AU$65 million in revenue for FY2026. The work involves extensive transmission and distribution maintenance, including pole replacements, reconductoring, cross arm and beam replacements, and other key upgrades.

Genus will provide its services across the SWIS, which spans from Kalbarri to Albany and services over 2.3 million people. The project further strengthens Genus’ long-standing relationship with Western Power and underscores its role in supporting the reliability and efficiency of Western Australia’s electricity infrastructure. This engagement also highlights the company’s continued contribution to regional employment and the delivery of essential infrastructure supporting cleaner, more resilient energy systems across the state.
