Burley Minerals Advances Iron Exploration at Cane Bore

Jun 30, 2025

Burley Minerals Limited (ASX: BUR) has reported promising assay results from its maiden reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Cane Bore Iron Project’s South Target in Western Australia's Pilbara region. The drilling comprised 28 holes over 1,020 meters, revealing near-surface Channel Iron Deposit (CID) mineralisation with grades reaching up to 54.0% Fe (62.2% calcined Fe). The average iron content was 49.6% Fe at a 47% cut-off. These findings validate prior rock-chip sampling and confirm mineralisation to depths of up to 9 meters. With just 22% of the approved exploration area tested, Burley plans to expand drilling to the North and Step-Out Targets, covering 2.9 million square meters, pending a heritage survey in July 2025. In addition to Cane Bore, Burley holds other iron and lithium assets in Australia and Québec, Canada. The company places a high priority on responsible exploration practices and is committed to safeguarding Indigenous cultural heritage throughout its operations.
