Element 25 Strengthens Growth Strategy with AU$18 million Capital Raise
Element 25 Limited (ASX: E25) has secured AU$18 million through a share placement to support the expansion of its 100%-owned Butcherbird Manganese Project in Western Australia. Funds from the raise are intended to enhance manufacturing capabilities while ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations. The project hosts a significant ore reserve of 101 million tonnes at 10.4% manganese, highlighting its global scale and resource strength.
The expansion plan aims to lift production capacity to 1.1 million tonnes per annum, supported by a feasibility study demonstrating strong economic potential with high returns. This capital raise complements the previously secured AU$50 million funding from the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility, strengthening the project’s financial backing.
Strategically, the increased output will cater to both traditional steel markets and the company’s planned battery-grade manganese processing facility in the United States. Element 25 is positioning itself to capitalize on the growing demand for manganese driven by the transition toward electric vehicle battery technologies, particularly the shift to manganese-rich chemistries.
