EML Payments Strengthens Leadership and Navigates Regulatory Developments
EML Payments Limited (ASX: EML) has appointed Adam Olding as Global Chief Executive Officer, marking a key step in advancing its EML2.0 transformation strategy. Olding, who previously led operations across Australia, the UK, and Europe, will now oversee global operations, including North America, enhancing leadership accountability and execution capability across regions.
The revised leadership structure enables Executive Chairman Anthony Hynes to focus on strategic growth initiatives, product development, and investor engagement, while Olding manages day-to-day operations and drives deployment of the company’s unified global technology platform, Arlo.
Alongside leadership changes, EML is addressing regulatory requirements in Australia. Its subsidiary is progressing an application for a banking licence, while engaging with regulators on interim measures, including potential guarantees for stored value liabilities. Overall, the company is aligning leadership and regulatory strategy to support growth, strengthen operations, and enhance its position as a global payments provider.
