High-Priority Gold Target Identified at Balagundi with Drilling Set to Commence
Accelerate Resources Limited (ASX: AX8) has reported the identification of a high-priority gold target at the Fluffy Prospect within its Balagundi Project in Western Australia, supported by historic drilling and recent exploration programs. Previous results include intercepts of up to 45 metres at 1.35 grams per tonne gold and rock chip samples grading up to 32.9 grams per tonne gold, highlighting strong mineralization potential. Recent geophysical and geochemical surveys have refined the target area, identifying prospective zones beneath shallow cover and improving drill targeting confidence. The Company is planning a 1,500 metre aircore drilling program across multiple priority targets within the largely underexplored project area. This will represent the first drilling campaign at the Fluffy Prospect in more than 30 years, with commencement targeted for early Q2 2026. The upcoming program is expected to validate historical results and assess the scale of gold mineralization, positioning the project for further exploration success.
