European Lithium Announces Share Buy Back

European Lithium Limited (ASX: EUR) disclosed its plan to repurchase up to 135 million shares on-market, equal to nearly 10% of its total issued stock. At the 30 September 2025 closing price, the program carries an estimated value of about AU$12.6 million. The board believes the company’s current market price undervalues its assets, particularly its AU$678 million holding in Critical Metals Corp. Executive Chairman Tony Sage stated that the buy-back provides an opportunity to acquire shares at a discount and enhance long-term shareholder value.

The buy-back will commence no earlier than 17 October 2025 and run until 31 March 2026, subject to market conditions and other factors. It will be conducted within the “10/12 limit” under the Corporations Act 2001, meaning shareholder approval is not required. Evolution Capital Pty Ltd will manage the process. The board reserves the discretion to pause or end the program whenever deemed appropriate.
