Sales for the March quarter totaled AU$923,000, a 60% increase from the prior quarter. This growth highlights the improving financial and operational performance of the company’s aggregate materials business. With additional processing infrastructure set to be added, sales are expected to continue growing.
Alongside this, Freehill is making substantial progress in advancing its Blanco y Negro Copper-Gold Project in Chile, which holds a JORC-2012 resource of 1.5Mt at 1.4% copper and 0.5g/t gold. The company is focused on mine planning and permitting for an initial 5,000-tonne per month operation. The strong performance of its aggregates business is supporting Freehill’s ambitions for copper mining expansion in the region.
