Firetail Resources Boosts Paterson Copper-Gold Potential with EM Survey and Drilling Plans

Firetail Resources Limited (ASX: FTL) has advanced exploration at its Paterson Copper-Gold Project in Western Australia by identifying three high-priority targets through a detailed heli-borne electromagnetic (EM) survey over the Telfer West and Nifty West prospects. These anomalies are structurally aligned and sit along known mineralised corridors near major deposits like Winu, Nifty, and Telfer. The survey, covering 450 line-km, revealed conductors indicative of sulphide-bearing mineralisation at depth, especially at the Twest A and Twest B targets. Firetail is now preparing for a maiden reverse circulation (RC) drilling program in Q4 CY2025 to test these EM-defined zones. The company has also completed an initial soil and rock sampling program and submitted applications for a heritage survey to support upcoming exploration activities. This progress positions Firetail to unlock substantial copper-gold potential in one of WA’s most prospective mineral belts.
