Renegade Completes Carpentaria JV Divestment While Retaining Copper Growth Exposure
Renegade Exploration Limited (ASX: RNX) has completed the sale of its interest in the Carpentaria Joint Venture to True North Copper Limited (ASX: TNC), finalising a transaction valued at approximately AU$2.88 million and further advancing its strategy of focusing on North American exploration opportunities. The consideration package includes AU$300,000 in cash, 3 million TNC shares valued at AU$1.5 million, TNC’s 91% interest in the Prairie Creek Project valued at AU$200,000, and performance rights worth AU$880,000. Importantly, the structure enables Renegade to maintain exposure to future exploration success and potential development outcomes within the Mongoose-Taipan copper-gold corridor through its TNC shareholding and performance rights. The transaction also removes future funding commitments associated with the joint venture, providing greater financial flexibility to progress the Company’s gold, silver and copper projects across Nevada and the Yukon. In addition, the acquisition of the Prairie Creek Project introduces a new Queensland gold opportunity that will be reviewed to determine its exploration and value-generation potential.
