Flynn Gold Limited-High-Grade Silver Discovery at Silver King
Flynn Gold Limited (ASX: FG1) has reported a strong start to its maiden drilling program at the Silver King prospect within the Henty Silver-Lead-Zinc Project in Tasmania, highlighting the project’s significant exploration potential. The first drill hole (SKDD001) delivered exceptional high-grade mineralisation, including intercepts of up to 2,450 g/t silver alongside notable lead and zinc concentrations, confirming continuity of historically mined zones at depth.
The drilling program marks the first modern exploration at the site in nearly 80 years and is targeting extensions along a 1.6-kilometre mineralised trend. Continued drilling, geological mapping, and geochemical sampling are likely to enhance the geological understanding and support the identification of additional prospective targets. Management indicated that initial results validate the presence of a robust mineral system, with additional assay results pending. Overall, the early success reinforces the prospectivity of the Henty project and supports further systematic exploration across the broader tenement portfolio.
