Rapid Critical Metals Limited (ASX: RCM) has expanded its exploration footprint through the acquisition of an 80% interest in the Tooloom Silver Project in northern New South Wales, significantly enhancing its exposure to high-grade silver assets. The project spans approximately 121 square kilometres and hosts more than 80 historical workings, reinforcing its district-scale potential within a structurally controlled polymetallic system.
Historical drilling has delivered strong intercepts, including up to 341 g/t silver equivalent, while surface sampling has identified exceptionally high-grade results such as 1,660 g/t silver, highlighting substantial upside. The acquisition increases the company’s regional landholding by nearly one-third and aligns with its strategy of consolidating high-quality silver projects alongside Webbs and Conrad. Management plans to advance the project through targeted drilling, geophysical surveys, and surface sampling to validate historical data and unlock further mineralisation potential, positioning the asset as a key growth driver within its portfolio.
