Kogan Group Delivers Margin Expansion Amid Strategic Reset
Kogan.com Ltd (ASX: KGN) delivered a resilient first-half FY26 performance, driven by strong momentum in its core Kogan.com platform and disciplined execution across higher-margin segments. Group Gross Sales increased 16.2% to AU$572.4 million, while Revenue rose 5.5% to AU$287.6 million. Gross Profit improved 7.8% to AU$114.2 million, with Gross Margin expanding to 39.7%.
Kogan.com achieved double-digit revenue growth and margin expansion, supported by a 28% increase in Active Customers to 3.0 million. Adjusted EBITDA margin improved to 11.9%, reflecting operating leverage within the platform.
Mighty Ape progressed through an operational and inventory reset, reporting lower revenue but improved cost efficiency as part of a broader turnaround strategy. By the close of the half, the Group reported a cash balance of AU$71.8 million, maintained a debt-free position, and declared an interim dividend of 8.0 cents per share, fully franked.
Management reaffirmed FY26 Adjusted EBITDA margin guidance of 6%–9%, with expectations of Mighty Ape returning to positive performance in the second half.
