Leeuwin Metals Raises AU$5.8 Million to Accelerate Marda Gold Project Exploration

Leeuwin Metals Ltd (ASX: LM1) has secured AU$5.8 million through a strongly supported placement to institutional and sophisticated investors at AU$0.235 per share, marking a 9.6% discount to its last closing price. The funding will accelerate exploration at the company’s Marda Gold Project in Western Australia, focusing on the Evanston Prospect, where assays from 31 holes remain pending.

A 10,000-metre RC drilling program is scheduled for November 2025 to test DHEM conductors and extend high-grade mineralisation, including intercepts such as 9m @ 5.23g/t gold and 8m @ 6.05g/t gold. The placement strengthens Leeuwin’s cash position to approximately AU$7 million, enabling aggressive follow-up exploration and resource modelling.

Executive Chairman Christopher Piggott said the raise reflects strong investor confidence and positions Leeuwin to deliver sustained news flow and potential resource growth into 2026.
