Mount Ridley Secures Entire Grass Patch Complex, Expanding Rare Earth and Gallium Tenure

Mount Ridley Mines Limited (ASX: MRD) has considerably expanded its exploration footprint within the Grass Patch Complex, situated north of Esperance in Western Australia. The company’s tenement package now exceeds 1,069km², granting complete ownership of this critical mineral-rich zone that extends roughly 68km along strike and 12.5km in width. Importantly, about 80% of the area remains untested by drilling.

The newly granted Exploration Licences add 31km to the southwest of Block 1 and 15.6km to the northeast of Block 2—areas already known for defined gallium resources and notable Heavy Rare Earth Element (HREE) intersections. The Grass Patch Complex, marked by distinct magnetic and gravity anomalies linked to mafic intrusions, is viewed as the primary source of gallium and rare earth enrichment. This strategic consolidation firmly establishes Mount Ridley as the sole owner of one of Australia’s most extensive clay-hosted gallium and rare earth systems, offering strong potential for exploration and resource growth.
