Multistack Plans Exit with Asset Sale, Eyes New Business Direction

Multistack International Limited (ASX: MSI) has announced plans to divest its entire operating business after determining it is no longer financially sustainable. The company intends to sell substantially all assets and liabilities to Hong Kong-based Willing Y Limited, which is focused on exporting air conditioning components and expanding into Australia and New Zealand. Under the proposed structure, the buyer will assume most liabilities in lieu of a cash payment, leaving MSI with a modest net asset base. Following completion, the company plans to retain sufficient cash to meet regulatory obligations while actively pursuing new business opportunities. The transaction remains subject to final agreements, shareholder approval, and regulatory clearances, with completion targeted by June 2026. In the interim, MSI will continue operating in a controlled manner and comply with its reporting requirements. The move marks a strategic reset as the company seeks a viable future direction.
