Noble Helium Limited (ASX: NHE) released an announcement dated 15 January 2026 outlining amendments to its existing VAT shortfall loan facilities and the issuance of a secured convertible loan note. The original loan was established to manage working capital pressures arising from delayed VAT refunds in Tanzania and was due to mature in December 2025.
The company has reached an agreement with its lenders to partially repay and extend the remaining facilities, with the revised maturity date deferred to 30 June 2027 and an outstanding face value of approximately AU$2.8 million. One lender has been repaid in full, while others have received partial repayment and agreed to revised terms, including reduced interest rates and future conversion rights.
In parallel, Noble Helium raised AU$2.15 million through a secured convertible loan note issued to professional and sophisticated investors. The announcement is price-sensitive because it materially affects the company’s funding structure, debt profile, and potential future equity dilution, thereby improving near-term liquidity and financial flexibility.
