Saferoads Holdings Limited Announces Minimum Holding Buy-Back for Small Shareholders
Saferoads Holdings Limited (ASX: SRH) has introduced a minimum holding buy-back facility designed for shareholders whose holdings fall below a marketable parcel. According to ASX regulations, a parcel of shares is considered marketable only if its value is at least AU$500. Using the company’s closing share price of AU$0.096 recorded on 13 March 2026, any shareholder holding 5,208 shares or fewer is classified as owning an unmarketable parcel under these guidelines. Through this facility, eligible shareholders can have their shares purchased by the company at AU$0.10 per share, reflecting the five-day volume-weighted average price prior to the record date.
Approximately 220 shareholders fall into this category, collectively representing 419,135 shares or around 0.96% of the company’s issued capital. The initiative allows these shareholders to exit their holdings without brokerage or transaction costs, while also enabling the company to streamline its share register and reduce administrative expenses associated with maintaining numerous small holdings. Shareholders who prefer to retain their shares must submit a retention form before the closing date of 30 April 2026.
