South Harz Potash Ltd. (ASX: SHP) has announced a capital raise of AU$1.25 million through the placement of new shares to sophisticated and professional investors. The funds will primarily support exploration work at the Glava-Klinten and Torsby West copper-gold projects in Sweden, where the company has recently obtained all required exploration licences.
The company plans to begin its first drilling programme around mid-2026, targeting areas with visible mineralisation and potential discovery opportunities. Directors have also committed to participate in the placement, demonstrating confidence in the company’s exploration strategy, although part of their participation will require shareholder approval.
This funding aligns with the company’s broader objective to strengthen its position in the critical minerals sector, which is benefiting from rising demand linked to the global energy transition. In addition, the company is evaluating further portfolio opportunities while maintaining its potash assets in Germany. It also plans to rename the business Turnstone Resources Ltd to reflect its evolving multi-asset strategy.
