TG Metals (ASX: TG6) has reported strong maiden drilling results from the Gold City prospect, marking an encouraging step in expanding its gold exploration footprint within the Van Uden Gold Project. Shallow reverse-circulation drilling across structurally complex ground intersected multiple gold-bearing zones, with standout intervals including 15m at 1.48 g/t Au, 3m at 8.49 g/t Au, and a peak assay of 17.67 g/t Au over 1m. Gold mineralisation remains unbounded in every direction, and the latest drilling indicates a clear north-east plunge that aligns closely with earlier soil-sampling trends. Seven holes totalling 606m were completed, using PhotonAssay to improve accuracy in coarse-gold environments.
TG Metals plans further drilling and structural analysis to refine mineralisation controls, supported by additional soil sampling and ongoing work at the nearby Van Uden deposit. Gold City is shaping as a promising satellite opportunity within a region already hosting established processing infrastructure and historical production.
