Wia Gold Limited Advances Kokoseb Toward Development with Strong Operational Momentum
Wia Gold Limited (ASX: WIA) delivered meaningful progress at its flagship Kokoseb Gold Project during the June 2026 quarter, keeping the Definitive Feasibility Study on schedule for completion in Q3 2026. Engineering, infrastructure planning and environmental work continued to advance, while an extensive drilling program outlined additional high-grade mineralisation beneath and beyond the existing open-pit resource. These results strengthen the project's long-term development potential and support the preparation of an updated Mineral Resource Estimate that will include the first underground resource. The company also reinforced its financial capacity by securing AU$92 million through an institutional placement, increasing its cash position to AU$119.1 million with no outstanding debt. Continued progress in permitting, project financing discussions and the appointment of an experienced project director further enhance execution capability.
