Beam Communications Returns to Profitability with Improved Financial Strength
Source: Kapitales Research
Beam Communications Holdings Limited (ASX: BCC) achieved a notable financial recovery in FY26, recording net profit after tax of AU$14.3 million versus a AU$13.5 million loss in FY25. The turnaround reflected benefits from the ZOLEO divestment, restructuring initiatives and tighter cost management. Continuing operations delivered EBITDA of AU$1.6 million, while normalised EBITDA strengthened to AU$2.3 million.
Revenue decreased 29.2% to AU$18.2 million, largely because ZOLEO product sales and royalty income ceased. Encouragingly, recurring Airtime & Services revenue increased 6.4% to AU$2.2 million, supporting the company’s ongoing revenue base.
Beam closed FY26 with cash of AU$3.7 million despite completing an AU$12.1 million capital return to shareholders. Additionally, the company announced a one-off unfranked dividend of 1.4 cents per share. Looking ahead, Beam expects its continuing operations to remain profitable and generate positive operating cash flow in FY27.
