EBR Systems, Inc.(ASX: EBR) announced that Chief Commercial Officer Erik Strandberg will leave the company in the coming months. During the transition, President and CEO John McCutcheon will oversee the commercial organisation while EBR searches for a new Chief Commercial Officer. Management expects the leadership change to have no adverse impact on US commercial adoption of its WiSE System.

The company will prioritise completing outstanding field-team training to strengthen its capacity to meet growing clinical demand for WiSE. EBR also plans to selectively expand its hospital network while increasing WiSE utilisation across existing accounts. Its field sales and clinical teams will remain focused on patient care and physician training.EBR’s proprietary WiSE technology provides wireless endocardial pacing of the left ventricle, potentially eliminating complications associated with conventional pacing leads. The system is currently commercially available only in the US.
