Highlights

  • Ora Banda Mining expanded the newly identified Sapphire lodes to more than 2.6km of strike while extending the high-grade Gem lode system.
  • Multiple strong gold intercepts reinforced the scale and continuity of mineralisation across the Little Gem Prospect.
  • The company remains on track to deliver a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for Little Gem later in CY2026.

Ora Banda Mining Ltd (ASX: OBM) shares climbed 6.43% to AU$1.117 after the company unveiled encouraging drilling results from its Little Gem Prospect, strengthening confidence in the project's exploration potential. The latest campaign significantly expanded the newly discovered Sapphire lodes while continuing to deliver high-grade gold intercepts from the established Gem lodes, suggesting that the mineralised system remains open for further growth.

High-Grade Gold System Continues to Grow

Recent drilling has extended the Sapphire lodes over more than 2.6 kilometres of strike and to approximately 200 metres depth, with multiple parallel lodes identified across the prospect. At the same time, the Gem lode system has now been defined across more than 4.7 kilometres of strike, with mineralisation continuing to remain open both at depth and along strike.Among the latest standout drill results were 5.0 metres at 18.1 g/t gold, including 1.0 metre at 84.8 g/t, 2.0 metres at 44.3 g/t, including 1.0 metre at 86.4 g/t, and 7.0 metres at 10.1 g/t gold from the Sapphire lodes. Additional strong results from the Gem lodes further reinforced the project's high-grade nature.

Resource Growth Remains the Key Focus

Ora Banda has completed more than 360 drill holes across the Little Gem and Sunraysia prospects, with drilling continuing to target extensions of both lode systems. Management believes the growing mineralised footprint supports the potential for a substantial high-grade gold deposit, while exploration continues to identify additional targets for future drilling. The company expects to deliver its Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for the Little Gem Prospect later in CY2026, a milestone that could provide greater clarity on the scale of the discovery and support future development planning.

Why Investors Are Watching

The combination of expanding strike length, high-grade drill intersections and ongoing exploration success has strengthened Ora Banda's growth narrative. With mineralisation still open in multiple directions and resource estimation progressing as planned, investors will be closely monitoring upcoming drilling updates for further evidence of the project's long-term potential.Note- All data presented is based on information available at the time of writing.Disclaimer for Kapitales ResearchThe materials provided by Kapitales Research, including articles, news, data, reports, opinions, images, charts, and videos ("Content"), are intended for personal, non-commercial use only.
