Wagners Reports Strong FY26 Financial Performance
Wagners Holding Company Limited (ASX: WGN), an Australian construction materials and infrastructure services provider, announced its FY26 financial results on 19 August 2026, reporting improved revenue and profitability for the year ended 30 June 2026. Group revenue increased 16.8% to AU$503.9 million from AU$431.3 million in FY25, while net profit after tax climbed 78.5% to AU$40.6 million. Stronger construction activity, improved pricing and operational efficiencies supported the company's financial performance.
Construction Materials and Composite Operations Support Earnings
Operating EBIT increased 60.9% to AU$67.2 million, exceeding management's guidance range of AU$62 million to AU$66 million. The operating EBIT margin strengthened to 13.3% from 9.7% in FY25.
Key divisional developments included:
Construction Materials: Revenue increased 28% to AU$328.2 million, supported by stronger cement, concrete and quarry demand.

Composite Fibre Technologies also delivered operating EBIT of AU$18.1 million, benefiting from improved manufacturing productivity and higher sales volumes.
Debt Reduction Strengthens Financial Position
Wagners substantially reduced net debt to AU$0.8 million at 30 June 2026, compared with AU$34.0 million a year earlier.
Operating cash flow reached AU$63.1 million, supporting capital expenditure of AU$51.2 million across production facilities and equipment upgrades.
Additionally, the company declared a fully franked final dividend of AU$0.05 per share, paid on 1 October 2026.
Wagners expects continued construction demand across South-East Queensland, supported by population growth, residential development and infrastructure investment associated with the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games.
Management intends to expand concrete production, quarry operations and composite manufacturing capacity to capture emerging opportunities. However, rising input costs, substantial capital requirements and project execution uncertainties could influence future profitability.
Overall, stronger operating performance, reduced debt and strategic capacity expansion provide Wagners with a foundation for sustainable growth, although future returns will depend on market conditions and effective investment execution.
