Accelerate Resources Uncovers Promising Shallow Gold Mineralisation at Fluffy Prospect
Accelerate Resources Limited (ASX: AX8) has reported encouraging results from its maiden aircore drilling campaign at the Fluffy Prospect within the Balagundi Gold Project near Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. The first drilling undertaken at the target in more than three decades identified multiple shallow gold intercepts, including 10 metres at 1.05 g/t gold, 3 metres at 1.96 g/t gold and a high-grade interval of 1 metre at 8.44 g/t gold. The results align with historical mineralisation and strengthen confidence in a sizeable hydrothermal gold system supported by geological, geochemical and geophysical indicators. Widespread arsenic anomalies, alteration, quartz veining and sulphides further reinforce the project's exploration potential. The company plans additional geological studies and follow-up RC or diamond drilling while expanding exploration across its enlarged Balagundi landholding. These findings represent another step towards defining new gold targets in one of Western Australia's most prospective mining regions.
