Accelerated Drilling Drives Momentum at Enmore Gold Project
Koonenberry Gold Limited (ASX: KNB) reported a highly active December 2025 quarter, highlighted by a material acceleration of drilling and exploration across the Enmore Gold Project in New South Wales. The Company commenced a 10,000-metre Phase II diamond drilling programme at the Sunnyside Prospect, targeting depth and strike extensions to previously identified mineralisation, with multiple zones of visible gold observed and assay results pending.
Concurrently, a 1,864-metre RC drilling programme was completed at the Hand in Hand Prospect, testing a +2-kilometre prospective shear zone east of Sunnyside, with encouraging gold intersections reported subsequent to quarter end. At the district scale, soil and rock chip sampling along the Borah Fault defined more than 4 kilometres of gold and arsenic anomalies, significantly expanding the prospective footprint. A 205 square kilometre airborne geophysical survey was also completed to support regional targeting. Koonenberry ended the quarter with a strong cash balance of AU$6.3 million and no debt, providing solid funding capacity for continued exploration into 2026.
