Tamboran Delivers Strong SS-6H Well Results with 11.9 MMcf/d Normalised Flow Rate
Tamboran Resources Corporation (ASX: TBN) has reported strong flow test results from the Shenandoah South 6H well in the Beetaloo Basin, confirming robust gas productivity and supporting its development strategy. The well achieved an average IP20 flow rate of 10.3 million cubic feet per day, normalised to 11.9 MMcf/d per 10,000 feet, comparing favourably with established U.S. shale benchmarks. Peak production reached 15.9 MMcf/d, with stable exit rates of 8.8 MMcf/d, demonstrating consistent performance and low early decline characteristics. The well delivered sustained rates during testing, with ongoing water recovery indicating continued clean-up potential. All technical objectives of the flow test were achieved, reinforcing reservoir quality and repeatability across the play. Testing has now concluded to preserve reservoir pressure ahead of planned tie-in to the Sturt Plateau Compression Facility, with gas sales targeted for Q3 2026. Tamboran is preparing to commence its 2026 stimulation campaign across additional wells, supporting a pathway toward scaled production and contracted gas delivery.
