Buxton Resources Secures AU$3 Million Placement to Accelerate Exploration
Buxton Resources Limited (ASX: BUX) has received firm commitments for a placement of approximately AU$3 million, issuing 86.4 million shares at AU$0.035 per share to institutional and sophisticated investors. The placement will support continued drilling and exploration efforts across the company’s Australian projects, including Madman, Lateron, Centurion, and Montello, with an emphasis on advancing these projects to their next development stage.
The placement also includes a director tranche, with 3 million shares issued to Gervaise Heddle and Martin Moloney subject to shareholder approval, expected at the upcoming General Meeting.
Proceeds will further support project evaluation activities, working capital, and the costs associated with the placement. This oversubscribed capital raise demonstrates strong support from existing and new investors.
