Alara Resources Seeks AU$3.84 Million to Accelerate Oman Copper Exploration
Alara Resources Limited (ASX: AUQ) has launched a partially underwritten, non-renounceable entitlement offer aimed at raising up to AU$3.84 million before associated costs. The capital will primarily support exploration activities across the company's Block 22B, Block 8 and Daris projects in Oman, while also funding general working capital and offer-related expenses. Major shareholder Al Tasnim Infrastructure LLC has agreed to underwrite up to AU$1.6 million, subject to shareholder approval. In addition, director Vikas Jain and his associates have committed up to AU$1.5 million, while another director has pledged AU$75,000, demonstrating continued insider support. Eligible shareholders may acquire three new shares for every twenty shares they currently own, with each new share priced at AU$0.032.The company believes the fundraising will strengthen its exploration pipeline and support its long-term objective of expanding its copper resource portfolio in Oman.
