iTech Minerals Validates pXRF Exploration with Strong Gold-Antimony Results at Reynolds Range
iTech Minerals Limited (ASX: ITM) has reported encouraging soil sampling results from its Reynolds Range Project in the Northern Territory, confirming the effectiveness of portable X-ray fluorescence (pXRF) technology as a rapid exploration tool for gold-antimony mineralisation. Laboratory assays returned peak values of 12.1 g/t gold and 9.1% antimony, while 48 of 182 samples contained more than 0.1 g/t gold, including nine samples exceeding 1 g/t. Strong correlations between pXRF and laboratory assays for arsenic, antimony and lead demonstrate that the technology can efficiently identify priority exploration targets while reducing exploration costs and turnaround times.
The survey also identified a previously unrecognised gold-antimony-arsenic anomaly at the Falchion Prospect, extending the known mineralised strike beyond 180 metres and highlighting additional exploration potential. Encouraged by these outcomes, the company plans to expand pXRF-supported soil geochemistry across the broader 42-kilometre Stafford Gold Trend and integrate the results with its ongoing drilling campaign. Initial drilling results are expected within the next two to three weeks, providing further insight into the project's resource potential.
