Aldoro Resources Identifies High-Priority Copper–Gold Targets at Damara Project
Aldoro Resources Limited (ASX: ARN) is a publicly listed exploration company focused on identifying and advancing opportunities across gold, base metals, and strategically important minerals. Recent exploration at its Damara Gold Project in Namibia has confirmed two highly prospective intrusive-related copper-gold targets, Nordenberg and Okaue, following detailed ground magnetics and soil geochemistry programs
At Nordenberg, high-resolution surveys defined a large concentric magnetic system interpreted as a porphyry-style intrusive centre. Geochemical results show a copper-gold core with surrounding molybdenum and potassium halos, consistent with porphyry Cu-Au alteration zoning. Okaue also displays a coherent ring-shaped magnetic anomaly with slow decay at depth, suggesting a deep-seated intrusive source and potential structurally controlled or contact-related gold mineralisation.
The Damara Project covers approximately 152 square kilometres within the highly prospective Damara Gold Belt, close to major discoveries such as WIA Gold’s Kokoseb and Osino Resources’ Ondundu and Eureka deposits. These results significantly enhance Aldoro’s exploration upside and support further drill testing.
