Ampol Limited Updates on FSSP Phase 1 Review and Fuel Supply Chain

Ampol Limited (ASX: ALD) welcomed the Australian Federal Government's changes to the Fuel Security Services Payment (FSSP). The adjustments include an increase in the collar from 6.4 Acpl to 10.0 Acpl and a favorable revision to the Government Margin Marker calculation for the Lytton refinery. While the cap payment remains at 1.8 Acpl, these updates are expected to strengthen domestic fuel supply resilience. 

Ampol also confirmed that it has deferred its major refinery maintenance program (Turnaround and Inspection) until August 2026, allowing for the production of an additional 300 million liters of petrol, diesel, and jet fuel. The company highlighted its preparedness for disruptions to global fuel supply due to the Middle East conflict, ensuring continued availability of products through inventory and confirmed orders. A Phase 2 review will refine Australia's long-term fuel security strategy.
