TVN Advances Speewah Project with AU$5 million JV Backing and Feasibility Approval
Tivan Limited (ASX: TVN) has marked a significant step forward at its Speewah Fluorite Project in Western Australia, following approval of the Feasibility Study by its joint venture partners, including Sumitomo Corporation and JOGMEC.
The approval has led to confirmation that the partners will proceed with the second tranche of equity funding, valued at AU$5 million. These funds will support the ongoing Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS), which is progressing toward a final investment decision.
The Feasibility Study has been endorsed by Japan Fluorite Corporation, the joint venture entity, as well as the project’s board, highlighting confidence in the project’s development outlook. Strategic partner ETFS Capital Limited has also approved the study, further strengthening backing for the project.
The DFS will focus on advancing engineering and development planning, positioning the project for future execution. Tivan aims to establish Australia’s first fluorite mining and processing operation at Speewah, targeting production of high-purity acid-grade fluorspar with over 97% calcium fluorite (CaF₂) for export into global markets.
