Theta Gold Secures Key Crushing and Screening Plant Contract for TGME
Theta Gold Mines Limited (ASX: TGM) has successfully concluded a contract with NMS Africa for the manufacture of a three-stage crushing and screening plant for its TGME Gold Project in South Africa. This contract marks a significant milestone toward the project's first gold production and early cash flows. The plant is built to satisfy initial production requirements, with the flexibility to scale as the project expands.
The contract ensures that critical equipment, including ore feed, primary, secondary, and tertiary crushing, and screening circuits, will be fabricated and delivered on a tight 125-day timeline. This long-lead item will be delivered just in time for installation, reducing project execution risk and keeping the TGME Gold Project on track for commissioning in Q4 2026.
The plant is expected to deliver first gold production in Q1 2027, and construction activities are progressing within budget.
