Anson Advances Green River Development with Baker Hughes Engineering Partnership

Anson Resources Limited (ASX: ASN) has appointed global energy technology company Baker Hughes to undertake a comprehensive wellfield engineering program for its Green River Lithium Project in Utah, USA. The engagement marks an important step in advancing the project toward commercial production and aligns with Anson’s strategy of working with internationally recognised technical partners. The engineering studies will cover reservoir modelling, production and reinjection strategies, artificial lift systems, pipeline gathering networks, and overall wellfield infrastructure design.

The two-phase program will be delivered through Baker Hughes’ GaffneyCline™ division, which specialises in reservoir engineering, subsurface modelling, and production optimisation. The work is expected to support Anson’s planned 10,000-tonne-per-annum lithium carbonate operation by refining production and reinjection wellfield designs while providing cost estimates and execution plans for future financing and development decisions. Additionally, a Baker Hughes ESP pump will be installed at the Boysdaba #1 well for the POSCO demonstration plant.

Management believes the partnership significantly reduces technical risk and strengthens the project’s development pathway, supporting Anson’s objective of becoming a key domestic supplier of battery-grade lithium carbonate to the growing North American battery materials supply chain.
