Gateway Uncovers Large Gold-Silver Exploration Target at Great Western
Gateway Mining Limited (ASX: GML) has announced promising early drilling results from its Great Western prospect, highlighting the potential for a substantial gold-silver mineralised system within the Yandal Gold Project in Western Australia. Initial aircore drilling identified a gold-bearing trend stretching roughly four kilometres, while geological evidence suggests the broader mineralised corridor may extend across a significantly larger area. The results revealed a distinct pattern, with gold concentrated in the core of the system and elevated silver values occurring around its margins. Several high-grade silver intersections were returned, reinforcing the view that the project hosts a sizeable hydrothermal system. Importantly, many mineralised intervals were encountered at the end of drill holes, indicating that the deeper sections of the system remain largely untested. Encouraged by these findings, the company is preparing to commence reverse circulation drilling to evaluate deeper targets, investigate the primary mineralised structures, and further define the scale of the discovery.
