Element 25 Advances Butcherbird Expansion with Arrival of Key Processing Equipment
Element 25 Limited (ASX: E25) has reached an important milestone in the development of its Butcherbird Expansion Project (BBX) in Western Australia, with the arrival of the first major processing equipment package, a custom-built logwasher manufactured in Germany. The equipment has been delivered to Fremantle Port and will undergo final inspections before transportation to the Pilbara project site. The delivery marks tangible progress in the Company’s procurement and project execution strategy as it advances toward construction and commissioning activities.
The expanded Butcherbird operation is expected to deliver up to 1.1 million tonnes of manganese concentrate each year, backed by a robust resource base that provides long-term production visibility beyond 18 years. The newly delivered logwasher, capable of processing 600 tonnes per hour, is expected to play a critical role in improving ore washing efficiency and plant performance.
Alongside equipment procurement, Element 25 continues progressing engineering, contractor engagement, and commercial activities. Discussions with offtake partners are advancing, construction tenders are under evaluation, and all required permits remain in place. The Company remains on schedule for mechanical completion and commissioning of the expanded facility in Q1 CY2027.
