OD6 Expands Quinn Fluorspar Project into District-Scale Critical Minerals Opportunity
OD6 Metals Limited (ASX: OD6) has significantly expanded its Quinn Fluorspar Project in Nevada, USA, transforming the asset into a district-scale exploration play through the staking of additional mining claims and the acquisition of multiple high-priority fluorspar targets. The Company's landholding has increased from 48 to 226 mining claims, covering approximately 1,890 hectares across seven project areas. The expansion introduces four new project areas—Blue Bell, Bonanza, El Cortez and Bruno—containing nine historic high-grade fluorspar occurrences. Notably, historical sampling at Blue Bell returned assays of up to 88.8% calcium fluoride (CaF₂), while Bonanza hosts substantial fluorspar-bearing breccia bodies extending over 200 metres in strike length and up to 25 metres in width. Management believes the enlarged project portfolio strengthens the potential to develop a hub-and-spoke operating model centred on multiple high-grade deposits feeding a future processing facility. The Company is undertaking mapping, sampling and target generation activities, with results from current field programs expected within the coming weeks as OD6 advances drill planning across the broader Quinn district.
