Narryer Metals Benefits from Major Titanium Resource Milestone at Rosewood Project
PTR Minerals has announced a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the Rosewood Titanium Project, a development that strengthens the value of the joint venture area in which Narryer Metals (ASX: NYM) holds a 30% interest. The estimate outlines a substantial resource of 463 million tonnes grading 8.8% heavy minerals, containing 40.6 million tonnes of heavy minerals. A significant portion of the resource is concentrated within the high-grade Rosewood East deposit, which hosts 294 million tonnes at 9.7% heavy minerals.
The resource stands out for its high proportion of valuable heavy minerals, representing 93% of total heavy minerals and dominated by premium-quality leucoxene. More than half of the resource has been classified in the Indicated category, providing increased confidence for future development planning. Initial studies suggest the shallow, continuous mineralised body may be suitable for conventional open-pit mining.
PTR Minerals plans to advance pit optimisation and mine scheduling studies, with a focus on maximising early project cash flow through potential high-grade starter pits. The project also benefits from favourable metallurgy, strong recovery characteristics, established infrastructure access, and additional exploration upside across the broader Muckanippie Project area.
