Archer Materials Moves Closer to Scalable Quantum Technology Production
Archer Materials Limited (ASX: AXE) has reported continued progress in its quantum technology development program, with the company remaining on track to demonstrate a functioning qubit this year. The latest advancements mark a transition from small-scale laboratory development toward wafer-scale manufacturing using standard semiconductor production methods.
The company has completed several rounds of device design, fabrication, and testing for its graphene-based quantum technology, helping refine production techniques and strengthen manufacturing reliability. Archer believes these developments will support improved scalability, efficiency, and compatibility with existing semiconductor foundry systems.
Beyond quantum computing, the company sees broader commercial potential for its graphene and semiconductor technologies across sectors such as artificial intelligence infrastructure, cloud computing, photonics, advanced sensing, and next-generation electronics. Archer’s long-term strategy focuses on developing quantum technologies that can be manufactured at scale and integrated into global semiconductor supply chains, positioning the company within rapidly growing advanced technology markets.
