GreenTech Metals Secures Oversubscribed AU$7.5 million Placement to Accelerate West Pilbara Growth Strategy
GreenTech Metals Limited (ASX: GRE) has secured firm commitments to raise approximately AU$7.5 million through a strongly supported two-tranche placement, providing funding to accelerate exploration and development activities across its Munni Munni PGE-Cu-Ni and Whundo Cu-Zn-Au projects in Western Australia’s West Pilbara region. The placement was completed at AU$0.075 per share and attracted demand significantly above the initial AU$6 million target, highlighting strong institutional investor confidence in the Company’s critical minerals portfolio.
The funding will support Phase II exploration programs, JORC restatement work for the historic Munni Munni resource, metallurgical drilling at Whundo, and broader development initiatives. Cornerstone support was provided by RCF Opportunities Fund II alongside several Australian resource-focused funds. Following completion, GreenTech expects to hold a pro-forma cash balance of approximately AU$9.5 million2, strengthening its capacity to progress its large-scale multi-commodity strategy targeting platinum group elements, copper, nickel, zinc, and gold across the West Pilbara.
