Astral Resources Advances Mandilla Gold Project with Strong Exploration Momentum
Astral Resources Limited (ASX: AAR) delivered solid progress across its Western Australian gold portfolio during the June 2026 quarter, driven by continued advancement of the flagship Mandilla Gold Project. The company expanded the project's mineral resource to 54 million tonnes at an average grade of 1.0g/t gold, containing 1.74 million ounces. An extensive drilling campaign, including reverse circulation and diamond drilling, improved resource confidence while identifying encouraging mineralisation beneath the existing resource, highlighting further expansion potential.
Development activities also continued at a steady pace, with the Definitive Feasibility Study progressing alongside engineering, environmental approvals, and permitting work. Astral strengthened its long-term development strategy through the acquisition of the Mandilla Homestead, expected to streamline future site access and approvals. Meanwhile, preparations for the proposed Think Big joint venture at Feysville remain focused on achieving early production, while Spargoville exploration continued to reinforce the district's exploration potential. Supported by a healthy cash balance of approximately AU$65 million at the end of the quarter, the company remains well positioned to advance exploration, feasibility studies, and future project development.
