AU$41 Million Equity Raising to Accelerate Regional Exploration and Production Expansion
Cyprium Metals Limited (ASX: CYM) has raised AU$41 million through a highly successful equity capital raising, consisting of a AU$36 million institutional placement and an AU$5 million fully underwritten entitlement offer. The capital raising saw strong demand from both existing and new investors, with significant support from major shareholders Flat Footed and Tribeca. The funds will be directed towards enhancing exploration efforts at regional projects such as the Paterson Exploration Project and the Cue Copper-Gold Project. Additionally, the company will use the funds to fast-track studies and early-stage works for expanding production capacity, including reactivating the Nifty open pit and upgrading heap leach infrastructure. The restart of cathode production at Nifty is also progressing, with the first cathode expected in mid-2026. This equity raising positions Cyprium to expand its operations and leverage valuable exploration assets to become a leading Australian copper producer.
