Aurora Highlights Progress on Eagles Planned U.S. Listing.
Aurora Energy Metals Limited (ASX: 1AE) has outlined recent progress related to its option arrangement with Eagle Energy Metals Corp. for the proposed acquisition of the Aurora Uranium Project (AUP). Eagle is advancing a merger with Spring Valley Acquisition Corp. II, a Nasdaq-listed SPAC, which is expected to lead to Eagle’s listing on a U.S. exchange under the ticker “NUCL” once the transaction is completed. Spring Valley has confirmed that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has approved the relevant registration statement and has set 23 February 2026 as the date for a shareholder meeting to vote on the business combination. Following shareholder approval and completion of outstanding conditions, the merger is expected to close shortly thereafter. The deal is being backed by the sponsor group that previously led the NuScale Power Corporation listing in 2022. Aurora reaffirmed its ongoing exposure to the AUP’s potential upside and stated that additional updates will be shared as the transaction progresses.
