Austin Metals Raises AU$3 Million for Exploration at the Austin Gold Project
Austin Metals Limited (ASX: AYT) has completed a AU$3 million placement by issuing 600 million shares at AU$0.005 per share. Each share comes with an option to purchase additional shares at AU$0.01, with a two-year expiry. The placement is designed to accelerate exploration at the Austin Gold Project located in the Murchison Region near Cue, Western Australia.
Funds will primarily support drilling of the Mt Sandy and Brunswick Hill targets, located adjacent to recent successful drilling at the Island Gold Project. Historical drilling at Brunswick Hill has shown high-grade gold mineralisation, while new targets in Banded Iron Formations (BIF), similar to those at Island, are being evaluated. Drilling is scheduled to commence in early 2026 after the necessary permits are secured.
