Terragen Holdings Limited (ASX: TGH) has reported that an independent commercial-scale assessment of its biostimulant Great Land Plus® (GLP) delivered up to a 12% increase in maize silage yield compared with standard grower practice. The Laconik-conducted trial comprised 13 replicated data sets across multiple treatment applications, with GLP applied at 4 litres per hectare achieving a statistically significant uplift of 8.81 tonnes per hectare over untreated controls.
Based on a silage price of AU$125 per wet tonne, the yield improvement equates to an estimated additional gross revenue of approximately AU$1,100 per hectare. With total treatment and application costs of AU$55 per hectare, the potential return on investment was estimated at up to 20 times under comparable conditions. The results provide independent validation of GLP’s ability to enhance nutrient uptake, productivity, and soil health in a commercial farming environment.
