Bass Oil Delivers Solid December Production, Progresses Gas Growth and Indonesian Development.
Bass Oil Limited (ASX: BAS) reported steady operational performance for December, generating total sales revenue of AU$546,277 net to Bass. Group oil production averaged 239 barrels of oil per day, with monthly output of 7,407 barrels and sales of 7,060 barrels. In the Cooper Basin, production from the Worrior and Padulla oil fields totaled 2,717 barrels, supported by 99% facility uptime and improved output following pump replacement, with realised prices averaging AU$94.02 per barrel.
Indonesian operations contributed 4,690 barrels net to Bass, with oil sold at an average price of US$60.05 per barrel, despite modest downtime and natural field decline. Strategically, Bass advanced its gas growth pathway by signing a binding gas sales agreement with Origin Energy for the Vanessa gas field, targeting first gas in 2026, while regulatory approvals for the acquisition progress. Encouraging results from the Triassic gas study and preparations for Indonesian drilling further underpin Bass Oil’s medium-term growth outlook.
